Yes, the level you bleach your hair to will affect the results. To get the most vibrant color, and most like the color you see on your box, you hair will need to be a very light blonde, almost white color. If after bleaching your hair is a yellow or darker blonde, the color will be darker. If you feel your hair is in good condition after bleaching, you can always purchase another bleaching kit and repeat the process before coloring to get a brighter result.

The dye is VERY difficult to remove from carpet, but you can try a mixture of shampoo and rubbing alcohol. Test on an inconspicuous area first to see how your carpet will respond. If everything looks okay, place on stain and leave for 10 minutes before scrubbing.
